Irma and Russell operated "Hobby Crest," a summer resort in Ludington, Michigan, for 22 Years. In 1965 they retired to Florida. Russell suffered a stroke a few years later and Irma began her business, "Crafts By Irma," making personalized bookmarks and note paper. At age 76, she was "hooked immediately" on ballroom dancing. As of 1993, she had earned over 250 trophies at ballroom dancing competitions. She also appeared on stage at the Desert Inn in Las Vegas.

Claude graduated from Clinton High School and attended business college in Pasadena, California. He was a cost analyst for Waukesha Motors in Clinton until he retired. Claude and Ruth owned a hobby, craft and toy shop which Ruth managed. Ruth referred to Claude as "Scrib," a common nickname for several men in the Scribner Family.

Richard graduated from Iowa State University, and was an electrical engineer/manager with a company that designed sonar systems for the U.S. Navy's submarines and torpedoes, retiring in May 1993. He had previously served four years in the U.S. Air Force.

Doyt graduated from Clinton High School in 1933. He served in the U. S. Navy during World War II in the Pacific Area. After the war, he was a Metropolitan insurance agent and, from 1946 to 1959, owned an electrical contracting business. He was an active musician, playing drums with Clinton and (later) Port Charlotte bands. In 1959, he and Virginia moved to Port Charlotte, Florida, where he maintained his electrical contracor's business until he retired in 1976. He described himself as "practical, logical, doing what has to be done." Doyt was an avid fisherman, RV traveler, gardener and boater. One of the granddaughters, Dawn Weeks, remembers about "Pops" that "I could ask for help if I was in a bind on something, and he'd come through."
 Doyt died of leukemia.

Bruce is (1997) the co-owner of a copier machine business in Cape Coral, Lee County, Florida. He served in the U.S. Army. A hobby is bowling, and he has participated in "Championship BowlingTournaments." He says that he is "happy-go-lucky, congenial with many friends."
