Before 1860, Hiram, Octavia and family moved to Shiawasee County, Michigan. They were farmers in Woodhull, Shiawassee County, and Williamston, Ingham County.
 The names of the children are difficult to decipher and reconcile in the 1860 and 1870 Censuses. We've done the best we can to get the names correct and in the proper order.
