Martha attended the Kansas State School for the Deaf and Gallaudet College (the only liberal arts school in the world for deaf persons) in Washington, DC. She went on to earn a Masters Degree in Psychology from New York University. At the time of this writing (2007), she works for Houston (Texas) Community College, assisting students with physical and mental challenges. Her interests include photography, travel and scrapbooking. She is working toward developing her own scrapbook-based small business.

Edna graduated from East Corinth Academy in 1933 and from Eastern State Normal School in Castine in 1935. Although she was only 5' 2" in height, basketball was her game at both schools. Her main interests were (most of all) her family, her dog , Spencer, camping, gardening, mowing the lawn, Bingo and even shoveling snow She was a great fan of the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots. "Those beautiful blue eyes will be missed and remembered by many, including good friends and neighbors."

Samuel was a farmer. He lived in the Maine towns of Enfield (Penobscot County), Brownville (Piscataquis County) and Gardiner (Kennebec County) until moving to Princeton, Minnesota, in 1858.

Florian and Lizzie lived in Bangor, Maine, for several years. He worked as a baker there. By 1900, they were living in Randolph, Massachusetts. Apparently, Lizzie died before 1908, the year that Florian married Jennie. He and Jennie lived in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where he managed a grocery store for several years.
