We were unable to locate Mary in the 1900 Census of New Hampshire. However, in the 1900 Census of Boston, there is listed a widow, Mary H. Tilton, born in March 1847 in New Hampshire, employed as a Nurse (Census: T623, Roll 686, E.D. 1470, Page 312A).
In 1910, Mary is living back in Alexandria, New Hampshire, with her son, William and his family. Also in the household is Ceclia Burnell, a private nurse apparently employed by the Tilton family.
