Much information about Lorenzo is found in the ONEWORLDTREE database concerning him and his family. According to that database, hie was born in 1864 and, after a few years of marriage to Emma, "disappeared." It has been assumed that he died, however, further research discovered Lorenzo living in Chicago in 1900, living in a lodging home in South Town, and working as a cook (Census T623, Roll 245, E.D. 11, Page 118A). In that Census entry, he claims to have been born in July 1870 in Ohio. This corresponds to the 1880 Census of the Ohio Reform School, wherein Lorenzo claims to be 11 years old, born about 1869. In the 1910 and 1920 Censuses of Bloomington, McLean County, Illinois, Lorenzo is there, working as a boilermaker for a railroad and married to Grace M. (1910 IL Census T624, Roll 306, E.D. 89, Page 214B). He died in Bloomington in 1925.
