After the family moved to Salem, New Hampshire, Harold and Mary (whose parents were born in Portugal) and family lived there for a short time (he worked as a woodworker in a factory there), then moved on to Boston. In 1930, we find Harold in Massachusetts State Prison, while Mary and family lived on West Second Street in Boston.
