From her obituary in the 27 October 2004 issue of "The Moosehead Messenger" (Online), we learn that Charlotte had worked in her earlier years at the Eastland Woolen Mill in Corinna, Maine. Ltaer, she worked at Koritsky's Clothing Store in Dexter, Maine, and as a secretary for Dr. Hans Shurman. She was a past member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Rebekahs. For hobbies, she enjoyed sewing and hooking rugs.

Charles graduated from Stowe High School, and lived in Stowe most of his life, until moving to Lake Elmore in his late years. He worked as an auto mechanic at several Stowe businesses, and operated his own auto repair busieness. Charlie was active in founding the Stowe Rescue Squad.
 He was a member of the Stowe-Waterbury Fisha and Game Club, and the Mystic Lodge 56, F.&A.M. in Stowe. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and sharing his knowledge with young people.

Sanford owned and operated a farm in Otisfield for over 50 years. For several years prior to his death, he was the oldest resident of Otisfield. For a few years, he was a Deputy Sheriff. He attended the Oxford Congregational Church, and was a member of several local lodges.

Solomon lived on his father's homestead in Wayne. He farmed in the summers and, in the winters worked in the woods with his team of oxen. He would also drive logs down the Kennebec River.

William served as a Private in the Revolutionary War, serving in Capt. Allen's Company of Colonel Ward's Regiment. It is said that "he was at the rail fence st the battle of Bunker Hill, and participated in all the battles under Gen. Washington to the fall of Yorktown, and never recived a wound, though he was always at the front of duty" (Sinnett, THE RAYMOND GENEALOGY [op.cit.], page 30). He served exactly one year, 1 January 1776-31 December 1776.
 He is said to have walked from Massachusetts to what is now the Town of Wayne, Maine, to become one of the earliest settlers of the town. He was a farmer in Wayne, well-known and well-liked. He died at son Nathan's home in Fayette, and is buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Wayne.
