Charles operated a sawmill in Island Falls for a number of years. By 1920, he and Celia had moved north to Perham (near Caribou), Maine, where his son from a previous marriage, Herbert, was living. There, Charles managed a farm.
Following Charles' death, Celia moved to Glendale, California and lived with her twin sister, Celestia Phillips, and family until her death in 1931.
Although each of them had sons from previous marriages, Charles and Celia had no children from their marriage.

Ralph joined the U.S. Army and, in 1910, was stationed at The Presidio in Monterey, California. He and Mary were married in 1910 and settled in San Pablo, Contra Costa County, where he worked as a steward in a hospital there. By 1930, they had moved to Brighton, Sacramento County, where he worked for the local Gas and Electric Company. Mary worked at a cannery. Their last years were spent in the City of Sacramento, California.
