Glen served in the U.S. Army 24 June 1918 - 28 January 1919. Apparently, Glen and Hazel separated between 1920-1930. In 1930, she is living in Portland and working for a private family (1930 Census of Portland: T626, Roll 830, E.D. 3-45, Sheet 1A). 7-year-old Linwood is in Bethel, living with the Fred Chapman family (Bethel Census: T626, Roll 835, E.D. 9-5, Page 204A). We were unable to locate Glen.

In January of 1917, when he registered for the World War I Draft, Francis was a schoolteacher in Jackson, New Hampshire. On 15 August 1917, he enlisted in the U.S. Army at Portland, Maine. He quickly advanced through the ranks being promoted to Private First Class in December 1917, Corporal in August 1918, and Sergeant in October 1918. He was honorably discharged on 29 March 1919.
 In 1920, Francis was living in New York City, working as a male nurse, caring for Charles A. Bryan, a 74-year-old invalid (1920 NYC Census T625, Roll 1197, E.D. 558, Page 205A).
 He also lived in Massachusetts.

Carl was the owner and editor of "The Bethel Citizen" newspaper and job printing plant in Bethel, Maine, where he worked from 1912 to his death from a heart attack on 12 April 1963. He is buried in Riverside Cemetery, Bethel.

Edmund attended Trinity and Kelvin schools and Columbia University. For 53 years, at his Wydeacre Farm in Mason, Maine, he specialized in market gardening and raising dairy and beef cattle. In 1949, he was named an Outstanding Farmer by the University of Maine.
 Edmund is buried in Pine Grove Cemetery, West Bethel, Maine.
