Albert moved to Haverhill sometime between 1880-1900. In 1900, he was working as a clerk in a grocery store (1900 Census of Haverhill: T623, Roll 642, E.D. 308, Page 110B). In 1910, he was a salesman, and in 1920, he worked for a gas company as a collector, and was living at the same address, 117 Portland Street, as in the 1910 Census (1920 Census of Haverhill: T625, Roll 690, E.D. 74, Page 177A). Interestingly, the 1920 Census shows Albert to be a widower, but in the previous censuses, he is shown as being single. So, it's possible that he had married between 1910-1920, but his wife died before 1920.
