There is some confusion regarding Alvin and Virginia's marriage date. A marriage is recorded at Bradford on 29 June 1891 (Bradford Town and Vital Records, 1819-1941), in addition to the marriage recorded on 6 April 1895. The first of their 9 children, Charles, was born 6 September 1891, presumably at Bradford, since all of their other childen were born there.
