Charles attended Military School at Paterson, New Jersey, and won the gold star medal. In 1901, he entered Columbia College. He was a lawyer, and partner in the Law Firm of Rabenold and Scribner, 61 Broadway, New York City (his partner was Elwood M. Rabenold). Charles and Blanche lived at 350 Park Avenue in New York.

AUGUSTA'S PARENTS: John was a meat-cutter, born in No. Whitefield, Maine, in 1851. His parents were from Ireland. He and Eliza (born in Topsham, Maine, in 1849, also of Irish parents) were married in 1872, and had 7 children (based on information reported in the 1880 Census of Topsham - NARA Microcopy T-9, Roll 488, Vol. 11, E.D. 151, Page 192C, Dwelling 196, Family 225).
James was an electrician at Lisbon Falls. He had also been a motorman for the Lewiston-to-Lisbon Falls Street Railway. In his later years, he served as Town Clerk and Tax Collector of Lisbon Falls.

Henry was an electrical engineer, and Vice President of the New York Telephone Co., for which company he worked 40 years. Apparently, he was commonly referred to as "Harry Scribner." In addition to his career, he was heavily involved with the Boy Scouts of the Huntington, New York, area, serving as District Chairman for some time. He and Jean were members of the First Presbyterian Church of Huntington. Henry had a heart affliction for several months and, on 6 May 1943, suffered a heart attack. He died 4 days later at the Brooklyn Hospital.

In the 1860 Census of Sumner, ME (NARA Microcopy M653, Roll 444, Vol. 9, Page 221, Dwelling 282, Family 282), Rosa's age is given as 7 years, indicating that she was born in 1853 (not in 1847 as indicated from her Death Record). In the 1870 Census of Norway, she is said to 17 years old (NARA Microcopy M593, Roll 551, Vol. 8, Page 260, Dwelling 10, Family 10). Rosa died from cancer.
Sarah died from pneumonia.
George was a farmer.
