Zydana was first married to Andrew Leso of Denmark, Maine. She graduated from Bridgton (Maine) High School in 1938. Besides being a mother and homemaker, she worked summers as a salad cook at Camp Wenonah in Naples, and retired from Ellis Paperboard Company in 1985.
Zydana died from a thoracic aneurysm.
