Maurice was a minister of the Advent Christian Church. He attended several colleges: New England School of Theology in Lenox, MA; Gordon School of Theology in Boston; University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA; and Berkeley Baptist Divinity School in Oakland, CA.
He first served churches in West Princeton, Bridgton and Westbrook, ME. Then, in 1944, he entered the U.S. Army and served as a Chaplain in England and France. From 1949 to 1956, he was in the Army Reserve, during which time he pastored churches in Modesto, San Francisco and Oakland, CA.
From 1956 to 1971, he served in the Maine National Guard in Bangor as the installation chaplain, while serving as pastor of the Advent Christian Church in Bangor for more than 30 years.
He retired from the military in 1971 at the rank of Colonel. As a tribute to Maurice, the Air National Guard unit at Bangor dedicated their base chapel as the Amnott Chapel in May of 1986.
From 1986 to the time of his death, he pastored the Milltown Advent Christian Church in Calais, ME.
Maurice died in an automobile accident. He was buried with full military honors at Ashland Cemetery.
He and Etta had no children.

Sherwood was raised by Walter and Annie as a foster child. When he became of age, he adopted the Knightly name, and was known as Sherwood Knightly all of his life. He was a farmer and truck gardener in Norway, Maine. Every year, he had one of the finest vegetable gardens in the area, which was marveled at by motorists as they drove by the farm on the road to North Norway.

During the 1930's, Elizabeth worked as a nursing assistant for Dr. Bean in Norway. In addition to helping Sherwood with the truck garden, she loved to crochet. It is said of her that "she liked to make things for her family, and always put her family first."

Warren operated a poultry business for many years, and also worked in local canning factories.

Albert earned his Bachelor of Science degree and his Master's degree at Bates College in Lewiston, Maine. His career as an educator included serving as sub-master and coach at Winthrop (Maine) High School (1926-1929), as headmaster of Pittsburg (New Hampshire) High School (1929-1934), as superintendent of schools in Colebrook, New Hampshire (1934-1947), as superintendent of schools in Gorham, New Hampshire (1947-1955), and as director of student teaching at Keene State College (1956-1966). In 1966, he retired as professor emeritus from Keene State College. He was a former president of the N.H. Department of Higher Education and of the N.H. Association of School Superintendents. He was also a member of the National Education Association.
During their retirement years, Albert and Regena lived summers in Norway, Maine, at their cottage at Little Penneseewassee Lake (Hobbs Pond), and winters in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Norman worked as a carpenter, owner-operator of a store and a filling station, and a truck driver. He also worked for the Postal Service in Norway and the Norway Savings Bank. For 34 years, he was a registered guide in Maine.

Ruth graduated from Bridgton Academy. Her main employment was at Pratt & Whitney in Hartford, Connecticut, from which she retired in 1964. Organizations to which she belonged were the Norway Grange #45, Pomona Grange State and National, Order of the Eastern Star Chapter #105 in Bolster's Mills and the Bolster's Mills United Methodist Church. She is buried in Norway Pine Grove Cemetery in South Paris, Maine.
